 トレックリングは2021年5月12日より営業を休止しておりましたが、6月21日（月）より営業を再開いたします。 ただし、梅雨期間中の平日は原則2名様以上のリクエスト予約とさせていただきます。ご予約の入っていない日はお休みとなりますのでご了承ください。土日祝日はよほどの悪天候でない限り通常営業しております。営業状況につきましては営業予定カレンダーを参考にご利用くださいませ。 

We have been closed since 12 May 2021, but will reopen on 21 June. For the time being we will be open every day of the week, but there may be times when we are closed due to weather or other reasons. Please refer to the calendar for our opening times.

☆彡ホタルの季節となりました☆彡

今年は春が早かったせいもあってなのか、ゲンジボタルの羽化が早く、奥多摩、青梅の一部エリアでは観られるとのことです。例年ですと7月初旬～中旬まで楽しめますが、今年は6月中で終わってしまうかもしれませんね。

サイクリングツアーやレンタルが終わったお客様にはホタル観賞場所の最新情報をお伝えしますね♪　

～ゲンジボタルに関する豆知識～

◇蒸し暑くて風のない夜8時頃が時～9チャンスと言われています（ゲンジボタル）

◇虫よけスプレーはホタルにとって害になりえますので、長袖、長ズボンで鑑賞に行きましょう

◇ゲンジボタルはオスとメスでは光り方や光の強さが違います。強く光ったり、消えたりする明滅させながら飛び回っているのはオスだそうです。一方、草や木の葉の上などにじっととまって弱く光っているのがたいていメスだそうです。オスは弱い光を放っているメスを見つけると近づき、より一層強い光を放ってアピールするそうです。気に入られればその後交尾をするそうです。

It's firefly season!

This year, perhaps because of the early spring, the Genji Botaru hatched early and can be seen in some areas of Okutama and Ome. Usually you can enjoy them from the beginning to the middle of July, but this year they may be over by the end of June.

~Tidbits of information about Genji Fireflies

The best time to see them is between 8pm and 9pm, when it's hot and humid and there's no wind (Genji Fireflies).

Insect repellent can be harmful to fireflies, so wear long sleeves and long trousers!

Male and female Genji fireflies differ in the way they glow and the intensity of their light. Male fireflies are said to be the ones that flicker on and off as they fly around. On the other hand, females are usually seen perched on grass or leaves, glowing weakly. When the male finds a female with a weak light, he approaches her and appeals to her with an even stronger light. If the female likes him, he will mate with her.
